Abstract: The results of a study on the release of ore in caving systems. With a gravity release, the ore expires in the haulage working through a funnel with a box hole, while the stream changes the direction of motion. It is established that when the ore is released with a change in the direction of motion, the width of the stream does not depend on the size of the outlet. Regularities have been obtained that allow calculating the stream width for direct flow and when the direction of its motion changes.
