Abstract: The article considers the criteria of limiting state of mechanical equipment of quarry excavators, containing defects of shaft line misalignment type. On the basis of the results of statistical analysis of failures of quarry excavators it is shown that misalignment of rotor connection is one of the main, along with imbalance, causes of their emergency failure. On the basis of 3-year monitoring of the vibration activity of the supports the vibration standards for the permissible misalignment of the shaft connection of the quarry excavators, taking into account their operating conditions have been substantiated.
