Abstract: One of the most important parts of the technological process of open pit mining is the quarry motor transport, which is widespread due to its high maneuverability, versatility, as well as the possibility of interaction with other types of transport. The basic part of all used automobile quarry transport are dump trucks. Quarry dump trucks are operated in various mining conditions, often in very difficult ones, which, undoubtedly, affects the service life. The dump truck frame, as the basis of the load-bearing structure, is a highly loaded element, which, in turn, is subject to high reliability requirements.
Providing long and failure-free operation of the load-bearing systems (frames) of dump trucks - one of the topical issues that requires a detailed study. In the given article the information, covering the basic constructive features and some defects of design systems of mine dump trucks with payload capacity up to 110 tons – KOMATSU HD785-5 and HD785-7; CATERPILLAR 777D, 777F and 777G; HITACHI EH1700; TEREX TR100; LIEBHERR T236; VOLVO R100E; BelAZ 7555B is presented.
For today the researches, aimed to study the increase of durability and reliability of the bearing systems (frames) of mine dump trucks, with taking into account the actual working conditions, is the actual topic of the surveys.
