Abstract: The current Raspadskaya-Koksovaya branch of Razrez Koksovy uses a longitudinal deepening mining system according to Academician V.V. Rzhevsky, with storage of waste rock in the external dump. There are known disadvantages of such a mining system associated primarily with negative environmental impact due to the impossibility to use the mined-out space for placing internal dumps. Therefore, the search for a modern technological solution based on a rational ratio of development method efficiency and minimization of environmental impact, taking into account the economic component, is relevant. One of the ways to reduce the negative impact is to change the mining order of the section and use a block mining system with internal dumping. In this work, an enlarged calculation of measures with the main purpose to technologically transform the longitudinal deepening mining system into a longitudinal block mining system is carried out.
