Abstract: Equipping mining machinery with remote control systems requires the use of new means and technologies of wireless communication. The peculiarities of using new devices in underground mine workings require studying the degree of influence of specific environmental factors on the main parameters of the system: range, transmission speed, rapid performance, noise immunity, reliability. Therefore, this article is devoted to the actual topic. The aim of the work was to study the influence of propagation coefficient on the distance, time and data transmission rate of LoRa wireless communication. As a result, dependencies between propagation coefficient and data transmission distance, parcel transmission time, and transmission rate are established. Functional descriptions of these dependencies by different methods of approximation of experimental data are obtained, and regression errors in percentage are calculated. The most accurate methods of approximation of the data obtained as a result of the experiment are highlighted.
